Julian Peterkin | Sunshine ABA

Julian

Registered Behavior Technician

Julian was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica and migrated to the U.S. 9 years ago. She's currently working on a B.S. in Psychology in ABA from Purdue University Global with the future goal of becoming a BCBA. Julian loves being able to make positive changes in the lives of the kiddos with whom we work. In her spare time, she enjoys doing DIY projects, nature walks, reading and listening to different genres of music.

Paris Sharpe | Sunshine ABA

Hello, I’m Paris! I’m a graduated student from Rollins College. I played basketball all throughout my high school career and into college. On top of that, my love for children was just the same. I worked with many kiddos all my life and couldn’t have enjoy the experience more! I appreciate the youth of our society and want to be a part of the change. I want to help wherever I can and here’s where I am!

Emily

Registered Behavior Technician

Emily has worked with kids and families for over 7 years as a nanny and a babysitter and recently found her passion for ABA! With a strong background in customer service from working at Publix, Emily excels at building positive relationships with families and fostering a supportive environment for all. She is passionate about helping children with autism feel empowered and ensuring that their individual needs are met to make a meaningful impact on their lives. In her spare time, she loves to be outside by the water and she loves to take trips to go hiking.

Omar

Registered Behavior Technician

Omar is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) based in Orlando, Florida. Omar graduated from Florida Tech, where he developed a passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Omar's journey toward this career began during his time as a hairdresser, where he had the privilege of working with many neurodivergent clients. Through those experiences, he fell in love with the unique and wonderful perspectives they bring, which inspired him to pursue a career in behavior therapy. Omar is dedicated to using his love and passion in his  practices to help clients and families thrive.

Mary Lynn Cruz, CLC, CNA, RBT | Sunshine ABA

Mary Lynn, CLC, CNA, RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

Mary Lynn has seasoned experience working with families in direct care as a Nursing Assistant and Patient Advocate in home settings. As a child, she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to empowering people to discover their own breakthroughs in healing, growth, and transformation. As an adult, her journey brought her to becoming a Certified Life Coach with an ongoing goal of personal growth and spiritual alignment. She cherishes her role as an RBT for enabling breakthroughs using her natural talents. She considers being an RBT more of a calling than a job. She is honored to serve each parent and child with genuine love. In her free time, her focus is on continuing her education, creative writing, marketing, wellness, personal development, prayer, and spreading positivity through humor and kindness.

Jasmine

Registered Behavior Technician

After leaving the tech industry, Jasmine transitioned into Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), working as a paraprofessional for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) in Seminole and Orange County Schools. Since starting in the summer of 2023, Jasmine has developed a passion for ABA, finding it to be the most rewarding career she has ever pursued. Her daily goal is to support your child's growth, help them thrive, and ensure they enjoy the highest quality of life.

Lis

Registered Behavior Technician

Lismery, also known as Lis, earned her B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in ABA and Education from Nova Southeastern University. She is pursuing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She’s always loved working with kids in every setting and has found the ABA setting to be the most rewarding. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and finding new and different activities to do in her area.

Blakley

Registered Behavior Technician

Blakley has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State

University. Her favorite thing is helping children build independence and watching their

confidence blossom along the way. When She's not studying or working, you can find Blakley

experimenting with all kinds of bread recipes or cuddling with her cats!

Airel Lufkin, M.S., BCBA | Sunshine ABA

Airel Lufkin, M.S., BCBA

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

Airel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, born and raised in Orlando. She has been working with families living with Autism and related disabilities for over five years and loves learning about each and every kiddo and their families . During her off time you can find her paddle boarding, at a coffee shop or hiking a new trail.

Heather Doll, M.A., BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Heather is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, born in Florida. She has been working with children in various capacities since 2018. She started by volunteering through an organization in San Francisco to help children from other countries navigate the English language. Moving back to Florida, she taught middle school social studies, working with hundreds of students in the public school system. After the pandemic, she transitioned into the field of ABA as an RBT. Heather fell in love with the science of ABA and successfully pursued a Master's degree online from Arizona State University. She has provided services to clients in-home, in-school, and in-clinic; collaborating with SLPs, OTs, and PTs for best client outcomes. When Heather is not working, you can find her in bookstores, bubble tea shops, or meditating at the park. 

Frank Kamen, M.S., BCBA | Sunshine ABA

Frank Kamen, M.S., BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Frank is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is dedicated to supporting clients and families with proven effective therapeutic techniques. He has experience working with clients in a variety of age groups from toddlers to adults in the home, clinic, school, and Telehealth settings. Frank takes pride in ensuring his clients make significant progress in their essential skills, as well as learning to approach challenges in a way that is uniquely suited to them as individuals or as complex family units. Frank prioritizes created a tailored plan for each person, and on establishing a strong clinical relationship based on respect and trust. He is looking forward to discovering how he can best assist each family in reaching their goals!

Dr. Josh Levine, Ph.D., BCBA, LBA

Co-founder & Senior Advisor

Josh is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has over 20 years of experience supporting children, families, and communities living with autism. He began working in ABA therapy right here in Central Florida in 1999. He is an avid Phish fan, coffee nerd and independent wood turner.

Kahlil Seymour, M.Ed., BCBA | Sunshine ABA

Kahlil Seymour, M.Ed., BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Kahlil is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, born and raised in Florida. He has been working with children and families living with Autism and related disabilities for over seven years and loves helping each person discover and achieve their unrealized potential. Kahlil has worked with a variety of children from toddlers through high schoolers and an extensive array of maladaptive behaviors seen in-home, in center and in school settings. Kahlil is a jack of all trades whose hobbies range from painting, cooking and video games to motorcycling and rock climbing.

Jason Julia, M.A., M.S., BCBA, LBA | Sunshine ABA

Jason Julia, M.A., M.S., BCBA, LBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Jason graduated from Boston University in 2015 with a double major in biology and psychology and a minor in deaf studies. He began working full-time in ABA in 2015 while simultaneously going to school full-time at Pepperdine University for his master's in psychology. In 2017, he began his second master's in Applied Behavior Analysis with National University and became a BCBA in August 2020. In 2021, he moved to Hawaii and became a Clinical Director which led into a position as Vice President of ABA Operations. Jason now works as a Chief Operations Officer and as an independent contractor for multiple ABA companies across the United States. Throughout his career in ABA, Jason developed an online Telehealth model to overcome the difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic. He has worked with an extensive amount of maladaptive behaviors and clients of all ages. He has worked in homes, clinics, community settings, public, private and charter schools. Jason enjoys working in ABA to celebrate the small wins with his clients and families!

Britney Cook

Director of Family Success and Community Outreach

With a deep passion for supporting families and creating meaningful connections within the community, Britney serves as the Director of Family Success and Community Outreach at Sunshine ABA. With personal insight as an autism mom and seven years of professional experience in the autism field, Britney brings both expertise and a heartfelt commitment to empowering families and fostering partnerships that prioritize patient-centered care.

Justin Jones, Esq., MBA, EA | Sunshine ABA

Justin Jones, Esq., MBA, EA

Outside General Counsel

Justin is a tax and corporate attorney and serves as Outside General Counsel for companies in various industries. He is also an IRS Enrolled Agent, allowing him to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Justin has over 15 years of experience assisting clients with a wide variety of tax, corporate and nonprofit matters.
